Lee Roy (Sam) Hance passed away to heaven on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was born June 27, 1937 to William and Estelle Hance. He married Goldie Herman August 11, 1957, and enjoyed 64 years together creating a family legacy of 8 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He had many jobs, but teaching was his first love! Instructing young people in the trade of Auto Body or just sharing his life with them; he lived to make a difference.
His strong and passionate heart always loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He knew his mission on earth was, the Ministry of Reconciliation, to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. He traveled to India, Africa, Australia, Argentina, Mexico and Canada and many states in the USA proclaiming the good news.
He loved studying the Bible which is filled with highlighter marks and messages for his next assignment. When there was an opportunity to pray for someone, he would do it without hesitation and follow up by giving them a Bible with their name on it, which made an eternal impact on family, church family and friends.
He eventually became an author, scripting the countless adventures of his life. He always penned -
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Dad, you finished strong and we thank God for your precious life. We love you!
