LEOTA TROMMER

December 16, 1931April 17, 2018

Leota Trommer, 86, passed away on April 17, 2018 after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Pennsboro, W. Va. on December 16, 1931. shortly thereafter her parents moved to Akron, Ohio. Leota attended school in Ellet, Ohio, where she met her school sweetheart, Bill, in the seventh grade. After graduating from Ellet High School in 1950, she attended the University of Akron and earned her degree in Primary Education. She loved her many years of teaching Kindergarten children in the Akron area. Leota and Bill were married on December 19, 1954. She enjoyed sports and outdoor life with her family. She loved to travel with her husband and family. She was a caring and loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren during her lifetime enjoying their various activities and their school events.

Leota was preceded in death by her parents, Clive and Ocea Worstell. she is survived by her loving husband, Bill, of 63 years of marriage, children; Christine and Steve, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Michelle, two grandchildren Drew and Rachael, sister and brother-in-law Suzann and Charles Clemons, sister-in-law Barbara Rotunda, brother-in-law Norm and his wife Kathy and many nieces, nephews and their children.

The family will receive friends at Rose Hill Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2018, located at 3653 West market Street Akron, Ohio.

A visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home on Monday, April, 23, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by a Memorial service at 12:00 noon with Chaplin Charles Lentner presiding.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association 70 W. Streetsboro St. Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236.
