Lillian Ann Chambers (nee Carter) was born on July 7th ,1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, the third child of Clifford Carter Sr. and Viola Cook (Carter, Lane). Lillian’s sister, Elizibeth Betty Howell, and brother Norbert Carter preceded her in death. Lillian is survived by her Husband, Homer Chambers, and her brother, Rev. Clifford Carter Jr. (Florence).
Lillian was a graduate of John Adams High School in Cleveland, Ohio in 1955, and later became an employee for The Ohio Bell Telephone Company.
Lillian married Homer Chambers on January 28, 1957, and to this union 4 children were born. Deborah (Elijah Whitten), Rosalind (Dana DePina), Michelle Bryant, and David Chambers (Jackie).
Lillian accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age and attended St. Peter’s A.M.E. Zion Church and New Sardis Primitive Baptist Church. Finally, she was a member of The Church in Elyria, Ohio.
Lillian was called home on Thursday December 23, 2021. She is Cherished, Remembered and Survived by a host of In-Laws, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
