Mark was a unique and exceedingly talented wood sculptor, metal artist and master tradesman/carpenter whose works will be his legacy for generations to come. He was an honest, sincere, thoughtful and generous man with a kind playful spirit and quiet confidence. He loved his family and friends unconditionally and animals deeply.
Mark was a strong man that refused to give into the hardships that his cancer brought into his life 20 years ago. He went camping, traveled to Europe and lived a loving family life while enduring extremely difficult and detrimental health challenges which would have collapsed many others …all while smiling.
If you knew him, you loved him! Mark will live on in our hearts and be missed forever.
Mark is survived by his children: Elliott (Aleah) and Ariel (Kyle Wimberly), his grandchildren: Arlo and Baby “A”, soon to be arriving. Mark is also survived by his mother Phyllis, and his siblings: Gary (Barb), Mick, (Mickey) Tammy, and Marylynn (Greg) Martin, as well as former wives Stefanie Young and Leslie (Byrum). Mark was preceded in death by his father Michael Dunaye.
His wishes for cremation are being honored. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, November 15, 2020, with a time of fellowship to follow from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W.
