Our loving mother, Mary Kapenekas, a dedicated professor of Interior Design at Kent State University, was also an interior designer and textile artist who loved her work and her life.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Zoe, Kris and John.
In keeping with our mother’s carefully considered last wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
If friends desire, memorials may be made to the Kent State University Interior Design student scholarship fund thru the Kent State University Foundation.
