I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Mary Louise's passing. She was a very special person.

Your mom was my contact person to come and pick up expired medication samples to be sent overseas.  Even when it was difficult for her to get around, she faithfully came when I called.  Her joy in serving and helping others was always evident and she was an inspiration to me.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss.

You were always a social person in our youth in the Broad Street School and Bolich Junior High School days.

I remember a gathering at your house one afternoon and your Mom telling us how much she enjoyed "this new" 'Doonesbury' comic strip.

I knew that afternoon that your Mom had a young and active mind, and heart, that would serve her well going forward.

Your mom raised a good girl in you, Linda.  I knew you as a "Safety Patrol Girl," and I even recall your Mom being proud of your synchronized swimming prowess at our local YMCA/YWCA on Broad Boulevard at 6th Street.

Your Mother was a quality person who thankfully touched me as I was growing up. Your Mother offered me learning lessons about real life that looks forward, with a Hope to make a difference for the better.

Linda, sincere good thoughts to you, and yours.

Mom will always be close to me because of her vibrant love and example of faith and service which nourished me as a child and continued on as I also took on the roles she so capably modeled for me as mother and grandmother. Mom had a servant's heart as she nursed the sick, shared from her kitchen and garden, and faithfully witnessed strength through faith in God. Her curiosity about life was ever present, right into her 95th year. Life was not always easy for Mom, but she never complained; she prayed. I will miss her greatly, but rejoice that she is once again with the loved ones she has missed and looked forward to being with again. Bye for now Mom!

I think of her every year at Thanksgiving. Approx. 40 yrs. ago she gave me the recipe for her delicious stuffing and I have made it every year since.
