I send my sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time. This scripture brought me comfort when I lost a loved one and I hope it can do the same for your family. (Psalm 34:18) May God give you comfort and the strength to endure through this difficult time.

I am so sorry that I was unable to attend Mary's calling hours. I just got back yesterday from a trip to Oklahoma. I will miss Mary in more ways than I could ever state. She was so friendly and could strike up a conversation with anyone! In her time at Children's hospital she made many friends, not only patients and their families, but also department staff, and employees throughout our organization. Mary was respected and loved by so many people. We will all miss her. She also had her ornery side as well. I will never forget the day when she returned from lunch to here the music that I was listening to. Mary could not work with music on so we had to play it when she was at lunch... anyway she came back and told me point blank that "no grown man should listen to music like that!!!" I still laugh about this every time I hear that song! We all have so many great memories of Mary and my entire staff, our patients, and our employees will never forget the impact she had on all of our lives. God Bless her ... she will be missed!

I'm so sorry about your loss. I hope this word of God gives you hope and comfort, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." (John 5:28,29)

My therapy dog, Cooper and I, met Mary at Akron Children's Hospital Pharmacy. We looked forward to seeing her each time we were there as a part of the doggie brigade. She always tried to make time to say hi to us and give Cooper some loving pets and, of course, a treat. We have missed her smiling face these past months. Cooper and I will always remember her fondly.
