She was born in Gospodinti, former Yugoslavia. From there she emigrated to Canada. After some years there she moved to Akron Ohio where she raised her family. Growing up in a large family she was no stranger to hard work and spent many years serving others, retiring at the age of 84. She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking and will be remembered for her chicken soup and homemade noodles.
She was a long time member of the Apostolic Christian Church Nazarean as her life was centered around her faith and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gabor and Irina Bodjanac, siblings: Leona Szabados,Vlada, Danilo, wife Dobrica, Vera Popov, Ljubomir, wife Viorika, and Julka, husband Mato Petrek.
Survived by Siblings: Steve (Saveta), George, Nikola (Olga), Ljubica Pauser (John), Olgica Pauser.
Children: Zoran (Kyunguen) Kovacevic, Danny (Christine) Kovacevic, Diana Bammerlin, Lillian (Eric) Woloschuk, Steve (Jennifer) Kovacevic.
Grandchildren: Daniel,Christian,Alexandra, and Madison Kovacevic, Kayla Bammerlin,Tatyana,Sasha,Dimitri,Katya,and Nikita Woloschuk, Anna, Gabriel and Josiah Kovacevic.
and many dear nieces, nephews and close friends who shared life with her.
