I visit Pat several times in the past few months with no trace of his car and I started to wonder.........and then the internet uncovered this 4 months after the atrocity. I used to visit him and he was my consoler. My dear Pat is not gone but is being rewarded for his great doings on Earth. I am still in shock........God rest Pat.......I love you buddy......

Just learned of this and very sad to hear. I was good friends with Pat in grade school and lived down the road from him on Portage Trail. I remember him as the skinny-as-a-pole kid with red hair. Spent days together when we were young. My condolences and rest in peace Pat.

I heard Patricks name on the news tonight and realized this was the Patrick Feeney I worked with some years ago. He was such a good, kind hearted person. I am so sorry. The world lost a very kind and gentle soul.

I just learned the news about Pat, which was extremely sad. I pray for his family and friends at this time, and may God bless you with comfort and pleasant memories at this time.
Like others, I knew him from golfing. He was a spirited, happy man with a contagious sense of humor. He will be missed.

Ohhh red pat I don't know how or why this happened but it has made me sad for days. I will never forget all the golf we played together or all the beer& great times we had hanging out. I could go on for ever about our golf stories. You were always so nice every time me and my son (Scotty) would stop by Bernie's you always instisted that he take something home with him from your shop.
I will never forget the winter you taught me how to play chess I came over to Bernie's 3-5 days a week to learn how to play that game. You beat me every time for six - eight weeks. Then I got my day when I finally won a game, and by that time it was spring and I had to go back to work. All I heard for the next year was come over and play chess I can't live with you winning the last game we played.....I never went back to play because it just killed him that I won the last game.
You will truly be missed....and that first tee shot we hit this year will be a sad moment because we will all be thinking of you...
Thank you for being a wonderful friend & I will never forget you!!!!!

I have known Pat for the past twenty five years and I must say that he is one of the friendliest people that I ever met. I am a sports card and memorabilia collector and that is how we met because Pat was also a collector. Sports was what we had in common and we had many conversations about sports in general. What I will always remember about Pat is how he always greeted you with a big smile and made you feel comfortable from the time you entered the room. My deepest sympathies go out to Pat's family. I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to know Pat and be able to call him a friend. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace my Brother and I will see you in the next world.

Pat and I went to school together and he also became very good friends with my brother Chuck, so I would see him from time to time after we graduated. Pat was the nicest guy and always had a smile on his face. I am so sorry for all his loved ones but may you find peace knowing he is in peace. Pat and I shared our birthday and we always wished each other a Happy Birthday and I will continue to wish him a Happy Birthday!

I've known Pat for about 15 years and like many others it was because of Golf. We haven't played much together in the last several years but I'd still see him at the course from time to time and every now and then he would sub in our Wednesday League. The one thing about Red Pat is that he always had a smile on his face. ALWAYS! The last time I saw him (late Oct or early Nov of'14) we decided to have a couple of beers and catch up. I'm so glad we did. I'll miss you Pat. RIP brother.

Pat has been a great friend for many years. The 3 of us truly enjoyed spending time sharing our interests together. Recently he Joined Akron Mineral Club and Summit County Lapidary Society. He was in the process of arranging dates with us and others in the club to learn rock cutting. He will be sorely missed from our lives.

Pat and I met on the baseball fields of Northampton Township where we played on the same team coached by my father. We became friends, played football and basketball in junior high, ran track in high school, graduated from the same high school and same college, hung out with the same friends in the same places, worked together for a brief period of time, but the thing I remember the most is that Pat was my friend. I'm saddened for our loss, but I now realize a warm sense of happiness because in all the missed years Pat never forgot to be my friend. Even when I made the choice to step away from my previous single life, strewn paths, old stomping grounds to take on a new life with my best friend and wife Briget, Pat never forgot to be my friend. As friendships go we ask for many things and place a lot of burdens on our friendships. Pat asked for one thing from me and that single item was for me to be his friend, but that's what made Pat so special the only thing he asked from anyone was for you to be his friend.
Time is a funny thing. It's defines our past, we live in its presence, it creates our future and it's the only thing the truly separates us from each other. Sometimes I sit back and think about the past, sometimes the future and every now and then I forget to live in the present, but in this brief period of time all I can do is wonder why this gift, this friend is no longer with us. Sometimes the larger things in life evade me, sometimes not, it's amazing what you forget in time and I'm not sure how I forgot that Pat was born the same day in the same year as my sister Terri. I confident that most memories of Pat will stay with me, sad to say some may slip away with time, but I have a strong belief that my present path will take me into the future where I'll be judged and granted the imminent reward of everlasting peace and I believe this reward will include my good friend Pat.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Pats family and all of us that were lucky enough to have Pat as a friend. Find the time to be with your family and friends. Never forget to take care of the people that take care of you and always take care of the living creatures that can't take care of themselves.

Red Pat was the first one I met in my boyfriend's large circle of friends. He immediately made me feel like I belonged with a big hug & a sense of humor that made me feel at ease. I treasure the Pan Am stewardess clock that he gave me a few years ago-even though I kind of need him to fix it again! I am going to miss hearing about all of the wild adventures during and after golf outings at Good Park, Turkeyfoot, Firestone.....I hope he's already found a foursome & a good cigar.

Sharon and Paul, So very sorry to hear about Pat. I played golf with him a number of times on Thursday afternoons. It is true that you can determine a man's character by his actions on the golf course. When I did not have a cigar, he always seemed to have fine one for me and would never accept payment. He was a generous and kind man and will be missed by all.
