Reese C Purnell

Reese was born on April 21, 1961 to both the late Raymond C. Purnell Sr. and Cliffordeen A. Purnell (nee Milton).

Reese graduated from Buchtel High School in 1979, he then enlisted into the United States Navy. In 1982 he departed from the Navy honorably with a medical discharge.

Reese was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Norma Y. Purnell, and brother Ralph C. Purnell. He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories his brother Raymond C. Purnell Jr. of Akron, twin sister Renise C. (Anthony Sr.) Jackson of Atlanta GA, his aunt Clarie Ashford of Cleveland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Home Going services will be held at 1pm Saturday January 31, at Prince of Peace Baptist Church 844 Garth Ave. Akron where family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of service. Pastor V. Peterson will be officiating and Dr. Robert Golson will be eulogizing.

Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.

Condolences may be sent to 2606 Durand Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333 where procession will start at 11:30am Saturday.
