Preceded in death by his parents Russell Starcher and Ida Pelton and his son Ronald Lee Pelton, and brother Bobby Bucklew.
Left to cherish his memory children Randall E. (Susan), Donald R., Rodney G. (Penny), David E., Janet L (Kelly) Blystone; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and there might be great-great-children; brothers Raymond, and Herman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marine Veteran of the Korean War, retired from Kohler Mold & Machine, he liked to tinker in the garage and around the house with his sons, and enjoyed his dogs.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM in the Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W Market St Akron, OH 44333.
Interment will be Monday, December 16th at 10:00 AM in Rose Hill Burial Park, with Military Honors.
