She was born on November 11, 1932 in Barrafranca, Sicily to Joseph and Rosa Urbano. She was an excellent house keeper and enjoyed Italian cooking and baking. Rose would put others first, especially her family. She was a generous and self-giving person and was always upbeat and happy-go-lucky. Rose enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens. Rose was a longtime member of West Hill Baptist Church. Church members would say, “not a Sunday went by we didn’t get hugs and love from her.”
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, brother Salvatore Urbano, and sister-in-law Jeanette Urbano.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 70 years, Angelo, children, Gary (Debbie) Crapanzano, Teresa Crapanzano, Dan (Tammy) Crapanzano, Linda (Jim) Sedlacek, grandchildren, Morgan (Hiep) Truong, Abigail Crapanzano, Gabriel Crapanzano, Colton (Ashley) Berry, Jacob Crapanzano, Danielle Sedlacek, and Christopher Sedlacek, great-grandchildren, Diem Truong, and Kylie Rose Berry, multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family may come to call on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home and on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. The service will be live streamed at 11 a.m. by copy and pasting the link below.
Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s name to West Hill Baptist Church.
