After the War, Russel returned to Cleveland to begin his career in finance, sales, and management. In 1947, Russel moved to Akron, where he met his wife, Jacque, and started his family. He lived the rest of his life in Summit County.
Having spent his formative years on a farm, Russel had a life-long love of gardening and working in his yard. He also enjoyed golf, bowling and other outdoor activities.
The family would like to thank the staff of Rockynol and Hospice of Summa for the loving care they gave to Russel.
