

Sarah Diane Davis, 29, of Copley, Ohio passed away peacefully at home with her parents on July 9, 2021 after enduring-"always smiling-"through four years with brain tumors. Sarah was born in Houston, Texas. She moved to the Akron area when she was 2. She graduated from Copley High School in 2010, where she played percussion in the band, qualified with the golf team for the State Championship tournament, and lettered four years on the track and field team where she broke and continues to hold the school record in the discus. She was a scholar, and graduated in the top 10 of her class. She received Copley's annual Scholar Athlete Award. She earned her bachelor's degree in neuroscience at Brigham Young University, and was in her third year at The Ohio State College of Pharmacy when she was diagnosed and was forced to withdraw because of her treatments. She is survived by her parents, Michael and Giselle Davis; siblings, Rachel (Brad Evans) of South Portland, ME, Steven (Aryan) of Reynoldsburg, OH, Jacob (Courtney) of Provo, UT, Jared of Provo, UT, and Katherine of Provo, UT; nieces and nephews, Adelaide and Isla Evans and Delta, Tobias, and Rulen Davis; grandparents, Betty Jo Davis of Orem, Utah, Del and Diane Jones of Salt Lake City; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Duane Davis of Sundance, UT. Viewing/calling hours will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Billow Funeral Home, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, OH. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 735 North Revere Rd., Akron, OH.
