Suzie was born in Beirut, Lebanon, where she spent the earlier part of her life. There, she married her beloved husband of 36 years, Dr. Bechara Tabet.
The way she lived her life set an example of strength and hope for many. Suzie gave her all without expecting anything in return. She was genuine, loyal, and held strong values; however, she will mostly be remembered by her love of life and love of laughter.
Suzie’s elegant and stylish demeanor complemented her high-spirited personality. She loved entertaining a wide circle of friends and enjoyed cooking, reading, and travelling.
Her resilient character and resolve allowed her to lead others both in personal and professional endeavors. She excelled in her many passions, particularly in her careers in fashion and interior design. Suzie successfully founded and managed two fashion boutiques while selflessly caring for her young children. In 1993, after moving to the United States with her family, she pursued her dream and graduated from the interior design program at Kent State University.
Above all, Suzie selflessly devoted herself to her husband, daughters and their families. Her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, was her most important focus; everything else came second.
Strengthened by resilient hope, Suzie met her challenges with grace, courage and faith. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband as well as her daughters Muriel, Kristel, Gael, and Stephany. Her grandchildren will miss “Teta’s” warm smile, loving kisses and the many hours of playtime she devoted to them. Preceded in death by her late father Raif Tabet, she is survived by her mother Fadia Aoun (Lebanon) as well as her sister Roula Kesrouani (Lebanon) and brother Marwan Tabet of (France).
