Thi Tran Ha ( née Tran Thi Thi), 74, passed away June 10, 2015. She was born on September 20, 1940 in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1975 as part of the Pearl S Buck Foundation "Operation Babylift".
She is survived by her five children and five grandchildren, Hang (Craig) Lee, Jeremy (Emily) Ha, James (Cynthia) Ha, Anthony Ha, Dr. Linda Ha; grandchildren, Wilson, Sara, Christopher, Casey, and Megan. The Ha family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the compassionate care provided by the Summa Hospice and Palliative Care team.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to either the Pearl S. Buck Foundation (www.pearlsbuck.org) or Summa Palliative and Hospice Services.
The Ha family welcomes friends and family to attend the funeral mass at Saint Sebastian Church, Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00am (476 Mull Ave, Akron, Oh 44320). Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park with a reception thereafter at Catavalos Funeral Home (3653 West Market Street, Fairlawn, OH. 44333)
