Bill must have been the most generous, unselfish man I have ever met. Knowing him from Stan's Towing, I purchased my first home, and it was not far from his home. Bill would come by with, a chainsaw, a lawnmower, a snowblower. His words were, "If you don't need it, give it to someone who does." I still have that snowblower. it was that mower that I used for years to enjoy my new home. That chainsaw trimmed many of trees on that property. And then there were the pictures, Bill would show up with a photo he took of you working, or whatever. You might not have known he even took it, until he was gifting it to you. I am thankful to have known Bill, and the true person he was to everyone he interacted with. His kindness will be missed by many.

Oh Huck where do I begin?  My sisters and I are truly honored to have gotten a chance to know you! We enjoyed and looked forward to seeing you everyday or every other day at the New Era...you were definitely our favorite customer and we enjoyed joking with you and sitting and talking with you and showing you Snapchat filters or in your case "snap shutter filters" We will miss hearing "morning" even if it was 7pm We will miss you asking for a "big spoon" for your applesauce We will miss seeing you sit in booth 4 and most importantly we will miss you HUCK! You've always said there was never a dull moment with me around but there was never a dull moment with you either! You told my sisters and I that you hope to live to see each one of us get married and I'm sorry that we didn't work fast enough haha because we would have loved having you there!!! Thank you for all the flowers you brought us, thank you for all of the movies you gave us, thank you for the food you got for my cat, thank you for all your kind words, thank you for all your stories you shared with us, and thank you for all of your wise words that will stay with us for a lifetime! We never got to know our grandparents and we can honestly say you were that grandpa figure to us! Huck you are missed dearly and New Era is not the same without you! We love and miss you...we are glad to have gotten a chance to visit you at the Arbors and see you before you passed. You've always told us if you had to live the way you did in that nursing home that you would rather not live at all so even though you are not here with us at least you are no longer suffering and you are in a better place with God...you were the sweetest soul and you will be missed!! Bill..(huckleberry) was the most giving.thoughtful person I've known since my father. He has been with my family for many years through thick and thin.made a point to be at every event and holiday for everyone in the family. He helped my girls with work to save money to cars,helped them with school.He was there for all of us all the time. He had a great sense of humor and would just stop by and park in the yard in his blue truck just to have coffee (black) and see if we needed anything.Ill miss him coming over for dinner and to watch a movie. He liked my cooking and loved the movie "a home of our own". And "smokey and the bandit" because he thought sally fields was hot.:) said he never had time for a wife but he liked looking at women and loved kids:) He was a big part of our family for many years. And a big help to all of us when we needed it. He was family. Our uncle Bill. Our huckleberry. He was extremely fond of my daughter Faith who cared for him, worked for him, and just took time to spend more time with him then most. She helped him and he helped her.Bill helped everyone he cared about And I was given the privilege to care for him in his last days. And an honor to to spent the last days with him laughing and looking back on the good times. He wanted vanilla ice cream everyday day .Watched judge Judy at 3 everyday and just loved a cold glass of ice water. Was the only one I knew who liked tootsie rolls.:)  you never wanted to be a burden Bill and you never were! Thanks for the memories and being there always. It was an honor to be there for you finally for a change:) To the man that anytime of day was morning,,every date and event was marked with shapie and every moment was spent with many friends RIP my dear friend. Couldn't of thanked you enough for being there for my children and me.always!  Forever missed. I'll see you later Bill ok?

Bill was  an all around great guy.  Would give you the shirt off his back.  So many untold stories of his kindness and generosity .  Was my honor to work with "Huck" for over 20 years and have him as a neighbor.  Sorry to hear of his passing

I have no doubt Bill will be missed by many many people that knew him. I worked with Bill at CF and will always remember him bringing in cases of peanuts for all of the employees to eat. Many times I would see Bill walking at CF and he would hand me a flashlight or something else as he did with others that worked at CF. My wife and I were happy when he would come to our home to attend a party or just stop by to say hi.

Chip was a friend of my dad's, Frank Treadway and I remember him dearly.  He was always so kind and really funny.  It has been many years since I have seen him but his smile and kindness I have never forgotten.  He was so kind to me as a kid.  I remember him giving me a ride on his motorcycle.  He came to our house often when I was a kid.  My parents are both deceased now and I am sure they will celebrate when they see him in Heaven with our Lord.  Peace and comfort be with his family.

Bill was definitely a very compassionate person. He had the biggest heart and truly loved his extended family as well. He admired my sister Faith, and helped her in so many ways over the years, constantly there for her. He was always there for myself...I remember he let me do side jobs with him and paid me well because he knew I was saving for my first car. We spent hours together working, helping other people. He is actually the reason why I like country music. He played country in the truck all the time. He took me and my family to Maryland and spent the week with us there so we could see our family. He loved my mom Kelly and father Dave who cared about him so much and was there for him the entire time up until his passing. Always asking about Angel, Ashley, Prim, Megan, Brandyn. etc. He cared about his family at Stan's Towing...He was ALWAYS at our families house for Holidays but would always leave early because he was "going to work at the tow company so that they could spend the holidays with their families." I remember even going with my sister to take him food at Stans that way he could still have a nice holiday meal because he loved my moms cooking. When my sister Crystal was in the Arbors where he was, he always went to visit her and brought her flowers. He was there for just about every birthday party, my graduation, and family get togethers...And you could always expect a card in the mail every holiday and birthday because he was so thoughtful. He made sure he never missed spending time with our family because he was family. He always talked so highly of Tom, Vince, Cindy and especially Sarah because he spoke often about those who were very important to him and that he considered family. He was a huge part of all of our families and was always there no matter what. Lending a helping hand and doing whatever he possibly could for any and everyone around him. He was the definition of selfless and always went out of his way to make people smile, feel special and loved. He made a huge impact on all of our lives, and is already so dearly missed. Rest In Paradise Bill, we all love you so much.
