

He was a caring and devoted son, brother and loving uncle. Chip was one of the most compassionate and giving men that you would ever meet. He was always there to help anyone in need. Chip served a tour in the United States Coast Guard aboard the cutter Half Moon (WAVP-378). He proudly retired from Consolidated Freight(CF) in early 2003. Chip then worked part-time at Stan’s Towing Company.
He is preceded in death by his parents William F. and Evelyn H. Klein, and his two brothers; Patrick and Michael Klein. Chip is survived by his nephew Michael W. Klein and wife Melanie of Naples, Fl. and niece Jill Klein Neff and her husband Doug of Atlanta, Ga. and loving great nieces and nephews; Kaitlyn, Hunter, Callie, Theo and Farrah. He is also survived by his Aunt Adeline Mabie, and her sons; Neal and Brian Mabie, and their families.
A graveside service to honor William’s life will be held on March 1, 2017 at 3pm at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 West Market street. Akron, OH 44333.
