William Monaghan

William “Bill” Monaghan, age 63 of Norton, passed away on August 19, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born on September 14, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio to William and Elaine (Mariotti) Monaghan. He graduated from Firestone High School and then went on to the University of Akron. Bill worked for Akron Hardware for 25 years and then opened a UPS Store in Tallmadge in 2020. He collected sports memorabilia and was a big Ohio State Fan. Bill was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Akron. He is preceded in death by his parents. Bill will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 18 years, Lynette, daughter, Abbey, sister, Denise (Tom) Masterson, fur babies, Rocket, Harley, Bella, Lady, and Gaga, and many close friends and family. Friends and family may come to call on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 West Market Street, Akron. And on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 10-11 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. A Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
