Bill was a fine man and I always will love him. I have so many memories of him and his family. God bless you Bill.

Every memory I have of Bill brings a smile. I admired his strong sense of family, his sense of humor, and his thoughtfulness. His photo albums  complete with perfect penmanship, his medical journal always well used were always close at hand. I remember Bill and my dad playing dollar bill poker in the basement then rehashing their gof game and sharing a genuine friendship. The birthday cards with the stickered envelop  we're always appreciated.Georgia and  the twins were blessed having their dad for so many years, a life to be celebrated!

Gosh, where to begin. To say Uncle Bill will be missed is an understatement. His happy, welcoming nature was felt by everyone. I don't believe I ever saw him without a big smile on his face. He was quick with a joke and a wink. His eyes twinkled with mischief. He loved his family & friends unconditionally. He had a great life and is now having a great after-life with all the family & friends who went before him. God Bless them all! Cheers, Bill! Love, Lea

Bill and Lee were dear friends of my parents, and Bill was my Dad's golfing buddy.  I met Bill when I was a teenager, when he and I and my dad would play golf. When I read his obituary, so many wonderful memories came back to me --including the nickname Bill gave me - and of course his wonderful sense of humor.  Bill and I became fast friends until work took me away from Akron.  

My father, who went to high school with Bill, would be saddened to hear of his passing-- as am I. But with Bill, you are left not with sadness but with the joy of knowing a man who loved and lived life so well.   

To his family, I extend my most heartfelt condolences.

"Old How" will lovingly remember you always as one who played a major part in shaping my life. Rest in peace uncle Bill. I'll be there with you before to long.

I have many fond memories of grandpa Bill that I will cherish. I will make sure to pass on these stories of his jokester ways, and his fabulous sticker covered birthday cards to his great grandchild Laura. My condolences go out to the family.
