

He was born March 10, 1950 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Hugh and Audrey (Meritt) Green. He married Donna Barber on June 9, 1974 in Albion, and she survives.
David was a truck driver for Champion Labs, and managed the Phillips 66 gas station for 14 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albion and the Civil Defense. He loved his grandchildren dearly, and thoroughly enjoyed being around people. He also loved to sing in church, and had a love for motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Albion; one daughter, Tiffany (Aaron) Larkin; one son, Matthew (Devon) Green; his mother, Audrey Jean Tait; one sister, Marjorie (Doug) Jessen; two brothers: Ed (Patricia) Tait and Bryan Tait; and three grandchildren: Jackson Larkin, Marin Green, and Hudson Green. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Harold Green; and his step-father, George Tait.
Per David’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. An inurnment will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Albion immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to Barnes Jewish Hospital with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
