David Rude

David was born on May 16, 1951 in Fairfield, IL to Gareth and Betty (Peters) Rude.

He married Yvonne Proctor on June 27, 1971 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and they enjoyed over 45 years together.

Over the years, David worked at the Whal Winterrenger 76 station in Albion, Pacific Press and Shears and lastly at Champion Laboratories as a tool room machinist and CNC Operator; from which he retired.

He enjoyed gardening, playing the harmonica, his pets and loved to spend time with his family; especially his granddaughters.

David had a strong faith in God.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne of rural Albion, two sons: Darby Rude of Champaign, IL and Derek Rude of Fairfield, IL, two granddaughters, Elise and Violet Rude and a sister, Suzie (David) Harms of Bone Gap, IL.

Visitation for David will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5 to 7PM at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the funeral home and burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Albion.

Memorials may be made to the Little Prairie Preschool.
