Dianna Gail Brokaw, 56 of Albion, IL passed away, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at her residence.

Gail was born January 9, 1957 in West Salem, IL. to Darrell and Gilberta (Rector) Gillard. She married Steve Brokaw March 5, 1975 at Little Prairie Christian Church, Albion, IL. and he survives.

She worked at Champion Labs for over 26 years, most of them spent as a payroll clerk. She loved her flowers, gardening, planting bulbs, pumpkin patch, and bird feeding and watching.

Gail is survived by her husband; Steve of Albion, 1 daughter; Kami (Eric) Huddleston of Oklahoma City, OK, 1 son; Dustin (Pam) Brokaw of Albion, IL, her mother; Gilberta Gillard of Albion, 1 sister; Karen (Greg) Smith of Albion, and 2 grandchildren; Lauren Gail and Benton Huddleston.

She was preceded in death by her father and one son; Damien in 2001.

Per her wishes, her body will be cremated. Memorial gifts may be given to benefit Oncology Hematology Associates; with checks made out to either the family or the funeral home, in memory of Dianna Gail Brokaw.

Steve, I heard about Gail's passing while I was in Albion for Norma Doty's funeral. It's been a couple of weeks and I'm still thinking of Gail. She was a great childhood friend. I will miss her. I always looked forward to seeing her at the ECHS class reunions. You and your family are in my prayers.
