Emma Jane Michels

Jane was born September 17th, 1932 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois the daughter of Clarence and Jessie (Baxley) Banks. She married Delbert Michels October 1st, 1952 at Browns Chapel. She was a homemaker and a member of the Browns Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by Daughters Carrie (Jeff) Metcalf of Albion, Illinois, Jessie (Kevin) List of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Susan (Carl Nicol) Heleine of Bedford, Texas, Sons, Roy (Linda) Michels and Bill Michels both of Grayville., Sisters Martha Higgins of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Eula Banks of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 7 brothers.

Services for Emma Jane Michels will be 10AM Tuesday October 4th, 2011 at the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to American Diabetes or American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be provided by the Ingram Funeral Home.
