Milton Simon Wheeler

He was born August 2, 1926 in Berlin, Massachusetts to Perley and Grace (Davis) Wheeler. He married Virginia St. Ledger in 1990, and she preceded him in death in 2000.

Milton was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving his country during World War II and the Korean War.

He is survived by three sons: Cary (Lauren) Wheeler, Milton Wheeler, Jr., and Kevin Wheeler, Sr. all of West Swanzey, New Hampshire; two daughters: Gayle (Floyd) Willis of Keene, New Hampshire and Bonnie (Larry) Karson of Swanzey, New Hampshire; and four step-children: Larry (Darlene) Reid of Bone Gap, Illinois, Jerry Reid of Eldorado, Illinois, Eddie Joe (Dana Abernathy) Reid of Olney, Illinois, and Rebecca (Ed) White of Parkersburg, Illinois. He is also survived by two sisters: Ida and Louise; one brother, Ralph; several grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and 18 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, step-son Donald Gene Reid, four brothers, and five sisters.

A private inurnment of cremains will be held at Little Prairie Cemetery at a later date.
