In Loving memory of....(To My DADDY)
I wasn't there when you passed away,
When God took you by the hand
And said follow me this way.
I could'nt bring MYSELF to see,
what horrible things this DISEASE had done to thee..
I'd like to remember you
the way you were.
I think this to myself,But is it realy true?
As you laid in the shadows of DEATH
I pray you felt no fear,
GOD rest your soul
As you took your final breath
And shed your last tear..
Where are you going? What will you see?
Your pain is over,BUT WHAT ABOUT ME?
You didnt show fear while those around you wept,
My fondest memories of you,
In my heart is where they will be kept
ashes to ashes and dust to dust
You have passed to a better place
and in this we must trust..
I wasnt there when you passed away,
When God took you by the hand an said
follow me this way"

So sorry for your loss, Kathy. It is such a blessing your brother is firmly placed in Heaven. He is never truly gone, just gone from your sight, as you know alive in your heart & memories, until you meet up with him again one day. I love you, Kathy with you & your family in my prayers.

I was sorry to learn of your loss. Bill was a good friend and one of my favorite riders when I would drive the DAV van to Evansville or Marion. We always had interesting conversations and he always spoke proudly of all of his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
