Arthur Junior Davis

Arthur Junior Davis was born August 20, 1954 in Albion, Michigan. He was born the fifth child to Arthur Williams and Minnie Lee (Lott) Williams.

He loved to listen to music and watch movies. His love for cooking pushed him to attend Washtenaw Community College where he earned his Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. He also graduated from LeCordon Bleu’s Culinary Arts program in Atlanta, Georgia.

Arthur married Yolanda Davis in 1980. Although they divorced they continued a friendship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Shirley Davis and Katherine Daniel; his grandchildren Damyruis Gibbs and Timia Ballard.

To continue to celebrate his life, he leaves behind his children Tamica White, Rodney Edmonds, Mia Frierson, Joshua Davis and Aseelah Davis; grandchildren Tamyrah Gray, Malia (Jaylon) Wilson, Donavan White, Samya Davis, Makai Mosely, Jaliah Davis and Taj Ballard; great grandchildren Jericho and Jacobi Wilson; sisters Betty White, Eloise Davis; brothers Willie (Lillian) Davis and Oliver Davis and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arthur will continue to be celebrated in the hearts and minds of all who were blessed to know him.

So sorry to hear of the passing of My School Mate Arthur Junior Davis Class of 1972 I can't remember when I first meant Arthur but he was always kind. I never had the pleasure of eating any of the food he prepared but I heard it was delish. In September I ran into in Downtown Albion I talked to him he begins to tell me he had been sick I was happy to see him did not know it would be the last time I would see him I remember him as a great guy. To the family, I Pray you cherish every one of your memories of all the good times with Arthur God Bless and Keep Each of you Family God is Able
