Arthur was a very nice person. I grew up in the neighborhood. And if you did something wrong and he saw you do it, he would give you a chance to tell your parents about it first. Very loving.

Sending my sincere condolences to Sister Mastin and the family of Deacon Mastin. May the Lord keep you in His care and comfort during this time. He never makes a mistake, for absent from the body means being present with the Lord, which is our ultimate goal. Blessings be unto you!

Sis Mastin, Your family and my family have been members of the Macedonia Baptist Church family for many, many years. We've been through trials, triumphs, and numerous challenges. But God! Deacon Mastin, my father, and my uncles served on the deacon board for years until God call them home. Now, Deacon Mastin is also part of that "great cloud of witnesses." Remember, God is still able. On behalf of my mother, Vera B. Simpson and the entire Simpson family, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. We will continue to keep you lifted before our comforting God in prayer.
