Betty L Benn

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of her life held at Concord United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.

Betty was born May 6, 1925 to Jesse and Eunice Brigham of Concord, Michigan. She was a life-long resident of Concord MI, graduate of Albion College, member of Concord United Methodist Church, worked as the Concord Village Clerk for 27 years and was an avid knitter and reader. Betty was married to Richard O. Benn of Jackson in 1946. Richard preceded her in death in 1996 shortly after they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Sister – Beverly McMaster (Jack-deceased) of Concord, MI

Brother – Jerry Brigham (Phyllis-deceased) of Concord, MI

Son - Eric Benn (Pam) of Concord, MI

Son - Brock Benn (Nancy) of Knoxville, TN

Son - Matt Benn (Denise) of Indianapolis, IN

Daughter – Lorinda Belle Martin (Dave) of Ferndale, MI

Grand Children: Jason, Amy, Suzanne, Brett, Chris

Great Grand Children: Jackson, Emily, Kameron, Logan, Jory, Aubrey, Ledger

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Jesse Brigham Jr. (Betty)

Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 10-11am with a Memorial starting at 11am at Concord United Methodist Church with Pastor Brenda Walters officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the United Methodist Women, Concord United Methodist Church.
