Betty M. Noakes

Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan. She was born September 5, 1927 in

Albion to Walter and Josephine (Boyd) Piepkow. She was married to Leon

Noakes who preceded her in death in 2000.

Betty enjoyed reading and writing poetry. A life member of V.F.W. Post # 3672

In Albion. Betty was a very generous person and loved to donate to different

causes. She loved to travel with her family, they would always travel to different

destinations on vacation in the later years, camping and spending time at the cottage

up North.After her husband retired they started spending time in Florida. She was

very involved with her church and enjoyed sharing time in Sunday Services.

Betty is survived by:

Sons- Roy, Rex, Ross, Ryan and Roger Noakes

(10) Grandchildren- Shelby, Robert, Freddy, Joshua, Samantha, Aaron, Christian,

Tyler, Betsy and Adam

Great Grandchildren- Rhea, Malachi, Noah and Michaela

Brother- Clare Piepkow

Sister- Nancy Maitland

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon and sister Mary.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and

6:00-8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with

John Hauger officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion, Michigan.
