

Beverly Irene (Butters) Klinkel, age 87, of Homer, Michigan passed away at her home on May 15, 2025, with her daughter and granddaughter by her side. She was born August 10, 1937, in Homer, Michigan to Russell and Emma (Maurer) Butters.
Beverly was a woman who was always on the go. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, going to lunch, playing Bonko, doing chair exercises, and attending craft shows or whatever event was coming up. She loved to read and would visit the Homer weekly to get books. Her special friends at the Library, Glenda and Trixie, even helped her get books that would read aloud to her when her eyesight started to get bad. Beverly took great pride in her yard, maintaining her garden and flowers. She was also proud of the work she did at Albion College. She dedicated 30 years there, working various positions from secretary to bookkeeper handling major accounts.
She is survived by her daughter Janelle Klinkel, granddaughter Brittany Hogue, great-grandsons Jayce and Bentley, grand-dog Tarpina, special friend Candy, cousin Glen Butters, as well as, many other cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Emma Butters and sisters, Barbara Collins and Sandra Camburn.
