October 21, 1958 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He is the son of Bryan Stahl Downey and Shirley Ann (Gilbert) Downey. His parents preceded him in death.
Bart served our country in the U.S. Marines. After being honorably discharged, he worked at Tonopah Test Range Airport in Nye County, Nevada where they tested the Stealth Bomber. When he and his family moved back to Michigan, he was employed by Decker Manufacturing, where he provided more than 20 years of service. He also enjoyed canoeing, playing pool and horseshoes, listening to music, especially the Beatles.
He is survived by his four daughters, (Mackenzie Downey, Hannah Downey, Sydney Downey and Corey Downey), two grandsons (Nicholas Lauricella and Clay Besgrove), two sisters (Cindy Baily and Debbie Bombarito), three nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
