Candy Sue Davids 11/6/1958 – 5/25/2020 of Marshall, Michigan passed away at her home after battling with cancer. She was born in Marshall, MI to George W. and Bonnie Kay (Jones) Hoyt. She attended Albion Public Schools and graduated in 1976. One of her greatest accomplishments in life was being baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 10, 1973. She married her childhood sweetheart, Timothy Davids on July 10, 1976.
Candy immensely enjoyed and cherished her family including her three children, Christopher (Andrea), Andrea (Devon), Derek (Emily) and four grandchildren, Daniella, Jacob, Andre, and Eli. She was survived by her siblings, Debbie (Loren) Bostater, George (Marian) Hoyt, Tom (Dawn) Hoyt, Kim (David) Watson, and Glen Hoyt. Also many more loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Martha Hoyt 1982 and her mother, Bonnie Kay Hoyt 1998.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She put the needs of others above her own. She always put her faith in God first and encouraged others to do the same. He will be deeply and greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
The family is being served by J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, Albion. Memorial services will be held at a later time.
