Carolyn I Root

Carolyn Imogene Root age 76 of Albion passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Borgess in Kalamazoo under the loving care of her family. She was born July 16, 1942 in Steinman, Virginia the daughter of Herman and Frances (Fee) Kennedy and they precede her in death along with a son, Michael Root and sister, Jeanette Barns.
Carolyn was a very loving woman with a big heart who was generous to a fault. She loved being in her yard, tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed ceramics and crafts, even owning her own store at one time. She was employed with Progressive Dynamics and she worked as a Bartender for the Elks.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her two children: Annette Root of Albion and Wayne (Wendi Warrix) Root of Homer; grandchildren: Chelsea, Marc, Cody, Amber “Nikki” and Jimmy; great-grandchildren: Skylar and Kayden and brother, Tommy (Helen) Kennedy of Gainesville, FL.
Carolyn’s family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 11-1PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion followed by Burial at Albion Memory Gardens.

I knew Carolyn for many years, Carolyn was always full of fun no matter how she felt.
There was't any thing she could't do.
