Charles Herbert Tedder, a devoted and hard-working individual, passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on March 17, 1932, in Leoni Township, he was the son of Myron Gumper and Evelyn Dalson. Charles attended East Jackson Schools, where he laid the foundation for a life characterized by dedication and perseverance.
He worked as a truck driver for Crownover Concrete Block Company in Jackson, Michigan, for over 27 years until his retirement. Charles was known for his remarkable work ethic, always being the first to arrive at work and the last to leave.
Charles never married and had no children. However, he leaves behind good friend Harry (Judith) Root of Concord, friends since 1969 whom he met at work and their friendship lasted a lifetime. His legacy is one of commitment and loyalty, qualities that defined his life and endeared him to those who knew him.
Charles wishes were to be cremated and there will be no public services.
