Charles Orbin Webb

Charles O. Webb, of Albion, Michigan was called to his heavenly home On August 18, 2017. Charles was born to the late Ballard and Mary (Vaughn) Webb on March 8, 1936, near Allen, KY. On January 13, 1960, Charles married Linda (Meek). Charles and Linda moved to Albion, Michigan in 1962. Charles worked for a number of years as a machinist at Corning Glass, Reed Plastics and Sheridan Industries, until his retirement. Charles, affectionately called "Papa", greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Papa loved decorating for the holidays, bird watching and watching baseball: The Lawrence Welk Show and "Wheel-a-dorchee" (Wheel of Fortune), were some of his favorite television shows, when he wasn't in the garden or sitting on the deck.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Ballard and Mary Webb, sisters Ruby, Pearl, Josephine; brothers James, Curt, Doug, Glenn and his much loved canine companion, "Precious".

Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife of 57 years, Linda (Meek) Webb, daughters Malissa and Suzanne; grandsons John, Joshua and Devin; great-granddaughter, Amyah: Brother David (Eva) Webb of Concord, MI., and sister, Garnet (Herbert Dean) Laferty of Allen, KY. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and his beloved canine companions, "Cookie" and "Blossom"

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday August 23, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI. Graveside services for burial will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 at the Riverside Cemetery, Albion, MI. at 3pm
