Cora Lucille Bennett

(Cora) Lucille (Patton) Bennett, age 97 died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Magnum Health & Rehab of Albion. Born December 23, 1913 in Calhoun County, rural Albion to Bert and Sarah (Doll) (Leightner) Patton. She married Clifford O. Bennett Sr. in Albion on February 3, 1946 who preceded her in death.

Lucille was a homemaker and worked at Hoag & Son Book Bindery in Springport for several years.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, her parents, a daughter Barbara Jean

Huff (1933-1939).

She is survived by:

Nephew Ted Morrison of Nuncia, Michigan, Lucille and Clifford raised Sandra (Teds wife) as

their daughte and her special friend and companion Bill Duttlinger Jr.

She was preceded in death by her niece Sandra Kay (Patton) Morrison; brothers David (Hazel) Patton,

June (Francis) Patton; sisters Ruth (Hobart) Stimer and Marian (Paul) Hardtke.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, October 28, 2011 from 10:00-11:00AM at the J. Kevin

Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Graveside Service will be

Friday, October 28th at 11:30 AM at the Springport Cemetery, Springport, Michigan.
