Darwin James Hall

Darwin was born February 21, 1947 in Brookfield Twp, MI the son of James and Dorothy (DePue) Hall. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. When he came home from serving, he met the love of his life and her 4 children, Eva Lynn Wells, they were united in marriage 7 years later in 1972. She preceded him in death on February 20, 2014. Darwin loved to fish and hunt when he wasn’t doting on his beloved wife, Eva. His family will always cherish and remember him as the step-dad he didn’t have to be. He loved Eva’s children as his own and they will miss him dearly.

In addition to his wife of 42 years, Darwin is also preceded in death by his parents, son, James Breuklander and grandson, Joshua Breuklander.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Julie Breuklander, sons, Raymond (LeAnna) Hamilton, Jeff Breuklander, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sisters, Carolyn Owens and Yvonne Good and his beloved dog, Bonnie.

According to his wishes, cremation will take place and a family gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

The family is being served by J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson Animal Shelter, 3370 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49203.
