

Marshall Nursing & Rehab of Marshall, Michigan. He was born April 23, 1923 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Harris and Millie (Williams) Hackworth. Delbert served our country in the Army and was a very active member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church. He had a very independent, strong personality, loved to tinker with things and take long walks. He married Bonnie Clay on September 29, 1984 and she survives. He is also survived by his children: Darryl (Nancy) Hackworth, Stanley (Tina) Hackworth, Diane Robinson, Thomas Hackworth (Heidi Fast) and Steven Hackworth, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and sister, Eunice Prater. Delbert was preceded in death by 2 children: Harold Hackworth and Yvonne Itschner, 1 brother, Otis and sisters, Eveline and Callie.
Delbert’s family will celebrate his life on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Ellis Howard officiating at Grace Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will begin on Friday at church at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Albion Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice or Grace Free Will Baptist Church. The family is being served by J.
