Delila Louise Arnold, 83, of Albion, passed away Tuesday October 2, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 11, 1929 in Albion, Michigan to Fred and Inez (Hollie) Benjamin. On September 4, 1954, she was married to George F. Arnold in Albion and he is surviving.
She has been a resident of Albion all of her life. She worked at Corning Glass Works in Albion for 25 years and also worked at Mechanical Products in Jackson for 12 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Albion and was very active as a Missionary, Youth Director, and also on the Mothers Board at the Church.
Besides her husband George, she is also survived by 2 Daughters Lori Burton of Lansing, MI and Denise (Reginald) Humphrey of Pontiac, MI; 4 Grandchildren DeWayne and Dominic Burton and Deanne and Erin Humphrey; 1 Sister Geraldine Coleman of Chicago, IL; 1 Brother James Benjamin of Albion; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be Saturday October 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church, 523 Washington Street, Albion, MI 49224. Family Hour will be at 11:00 A.M. at the Church with the Funeral Service at Noon (12:00) at the Church with Rev. Fred H. Alexander Jr. Officiating.
