Doris Ann Hansen

Doris Ann Hansen, age 71 of Albion, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at Allegiance Hospital in Jackson. She was born in 1940 in Britton, Michigan to Alvin and Emily Faust. In 1961 she married Edwin Hansen who preceded her in death in 2002. She was a certified nurse’s assistant and worked at Faith Haven in Parma for over 20 years.

Doris was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Albion. She enjoyed cooking and her flower garden. She especially enjoyed and loved her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by:

Daughters- Dawn (Tom) Hoyt of Albion

Kathleen (Robert) Bonham of Albion

Son- Jason (Niki) Hansen of Albion

Brother- Donald Faust of Manitou Beach

Daughter in law- Wendy Hansen of Battle Creek,

Brother in law- Ronald (Betty) Hansen of Marion

(8) Grandchildren and (6) Great-Grand children

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Edwin and two brothers, Alvin and Charles.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Monday, December 19, 2011 at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion with Pastor Jeremy Williams officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, December 18, from 1:00 P.M–4:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
