Dorothy Mina Reed

Dorothy M. Reed, age 75 of Homer passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at her residence. She was born in 1936 to Lester and Turena King in Albion, Michigan. In 1955 she married C. Eugene Reed who preceded her in death in 1993.

Dorothy was the bookkeeper for Homer Fertilizer & Feed for several years and a Sales Rep for Home Interior. She was the secretary for the United Methodist Church for several years and was a former member of the Eastern Star of Homer. She enjoyed hunting, reading and bowling.

Dorothy is survived by:

Daughter- Melodie (Gary) Avery of Homer

Sons- Roger (Pam) Reed of Texas

David Reed & Janis of Homer

(7) Grandchildren

(5 ½) Great Grandchildren

Brother- Kenneth (Eva) King of Marshall

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband C. Eugene, brother Lester and sister Maxine Campo.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the J. Keivn Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Thursday, December

29, 2011 at 10:00AM at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Fox officiating. Burial will be at West Clarendon Cemetery, Clarendon Township, Michigan.
