Elzoria Christene Morgan

Elzoria Christene Morgan age 85 of Marshall passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 under the loving care of her family and hospice. She was born May 30, 1937 in Flint, MI the daughter of Glenn and Beatrice (Snyder) Andersen. She was preceded in death by both parents as well as all her siblings: Eva Andersen, Derwood Andersen, Aleethon Andersen, Ivan Andersen, Douglas Andersen and Vivian June.

In her younger years, Elzoria loved taking lots pictures of everyone, especially at every family function. She enjoyed playing Dice and Cards and also enjoyed various crafts. Over the years she made many tablecloths, baby bibs and burp cloths and liked to decorate cakes. She also loved Polka music and hardly missed a chance to Polka dance.

Elzoria leaves to cherish her memory 3 children: Debbie Thompson, Glenn (Wendy) Thompson, Stanley Lewicki, 6 grandchildren: Mandy (Jay) Cromer, Travis (Brittney) Wollison, Kayla (Michael) Maxwell, Taylor (Jacob) Bloomhuff, Christene Lewicki, Zoie Lewicki, 7 great-grandchildren: Aiden, Ava, Colton, Harper, Camden, Blake and Brooks.

Elzoria’s family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 24th from 5-8PM and Thursday the 25th 11AM until the time of her service at 1PM officiated by Pastor Steve A. Shafe at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr. Albion, MI. Cremation will follow services and she will be laid to rest with her mother.

For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Mar Lee School for a scholarship fund or to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
