She married Bert Titus Marshall of Albion, MI on September 17, 1955, at Klosterkirche in Fürstenfelbruck, Germany. She moved to Albion in 1956 with her husband where they raised five children. She worked primarily as a homemaker and a bookkeeper and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, in Albion, MI.
She is survived by her four children: Bert B. Marshall and wife, Sherry, of Vero Beach, FL, John T. Marshall, and wife, Mary, of Albion, MI, Raymond F. Marshall of Albion, MI, and daughter, Christine F. (Marshall) Gjestland, and husband, David, of Albion, MI. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Frieda is preceded in death by her husband, Bert T. Marshall, who passed on June 10th, 2020, and her son, Ronald Lee Marshall, who passed on March 14th, 2023.
She will be laid to rest with a graveside service on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00AM at Riverside Cemetery, Albion, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Legacy Land Conservancy or St. John Catholic Parish.
