Geraldine Elaine Blodgett

She was born September 5, 1929 to Clarence and Maude May (Lambert) Keifer in Albion, Michigan. In 1950 she married David McKinney who preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1986.

She later married Edwin Blodgett who survives.

Gerry loved to do gardening working with all her flowers, everything came to a stop when the

Detroit Tigers game came on the television. She was a member of the Rice Creek Community Church in Marshall and loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband David McKinney Sr., siblings Willard Keifer, Ruth Kemler, Ruby Rampy, Barbara Williamson, Irene Hickerson and Shirley Kennedy.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 form 4:00 – 8:00PM

at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 26th at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Pastor Steve VanSlyke from the Rice Creek Community Church of Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at

Albion Memory Gardens, Albion.
