Helen Elaine Thomas

Lawn Medical Care & Rehab of Coldwater. She was born April 20, 1931 to Merle and Myrtle (Connors) James in Manchester, Michigan. She was married to George Arthur Thomas who preceded her in death in 1964.

Helen grew up in the Coldwater, Branch County area. She worked for several years at the Carriage Inn preparing/handling the dietary food for their Clients. She was a member of Northview Christian Church.

Helen is survived by her children, Karen Sue Thomas of Coldwater, Debra Kay Thomas of Coldwater, Charles Rex Thomas Sr., of Tekonsha, Howard Earl Thomas of Coldwater and

Terry Lee Thomas of Coldwater; sister, Ethel Nichols of Tampa, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother Leonard T. James, Pete James and sister, Violet Chatfield, and three grandchildren: Greg Thomas, Misty Thomas and Katy Thomas.

Funeral Service are Friday June 2, 2017 at 12 noon at the Northview Christian Church,

539 N. Union City Road, Coldwater, Michigan 49036 with Pastor Jeff Bream officiating. Family will receive and greet guest at the church from 10am until time of services.

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, V Drive North, Tekonsha, Michigan 49092
