Irene M. Sitarski

Bronson at Home Hospice Residence, Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born

September 25, 1922 to John and Antonia (Tulak) Zurek in Jackson, Michigan.

She married Walter G. Sitarski on July 19, 1950 where they moved into the

home Walter built in 1949 where she had lived ever since.

She worked for a short time at Albion Ambulance Service, she was a member

of St. John Catholic Church of Albion. Irene was an avid bowler and she did

bowl a 300 game. She was a gifted seamstress, also liked to do needle point

and crochet. Irene enjoyed going to bingo and horse races but most of all

loved her Detroit Tigers.

Daughters- Jane (Thomas) Metzger of Marshall

Sharon Burns of Grand Rapids

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2005, grandson, Eric Metzger in 1977,

two sisters and four brothers.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 1:00PM at Riverside Cemetery,

1301 S. Superior Street, Albion, MI 49224 with Father Joe Gray as Celebrant.
