Ivey was born on October 17, 1954 in Jackson MI to Marvin and Delores (VanVleet) Kelley
She graduated from Michigan Center in 1972. On December 15th 1973 Ivey married the love of her life Lyman J. Hall who survives.
She was a hard worker throughout her life in various roles including at Meijer, Sam’s Club, Art Moehn, Albion Motors and More. Ivey was also a Mary Kay consultant for many years and never went anywhere without looking her best. She was a member of Christ Apostolic Church and enjoyed her country western and gospel music. Ivey also enjoyed reading and cooking, especially tacos and traveling with her husband on his bowling tournaments. Together they visited places like Reno, Los Vegas, Hawaii, Baton Rouge, Biloxi and Florida. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family especially the grandchildren. Ivey was a hardworking, feisty, outgoing straight forward loving woman. She was respected and loved by all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years Lyman Hall Children John (Tammy) Hall of Jackson, MI Chantela (Brent) Kapuga of Parma MI and Carl (Amy) Hall of Albion MI Grandchildren Laura Hall, Kaiden Hall, Tegan Hall. Siblings’ Carol Gage of Jackson MI Bud (Rachel) Hanelson of Alabama, Robert (Teri Jo) Kelley of Walnut Hill Florida, Jake Kelley of Georgia, Rayette (Brian) Johnsen of Rives Junction MI best friend Terry Rudd and family. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Terry Hashley of Georgia
A celebration of life is planned Sunday, October 16th, 2022 at Dave Rudd's Auto located at 949 E South Street in Jackson, Michigan 49202. All Family and friends welcome to share memories and a meal.
