Jim Bommarito was such a lovely man: full of goodness and good humor. We always had a discussion before/after Saturday evening Mass. He did his turn as Usher/Greeter up until the last. I am honored that he called me "Ruthie," which in my family is a term on endearment. Nobody else in Albion does that! Sorry I never sampled his sausage recipe, which was commented upon at his Memorial Mass. Ruth Schmitter

To our dear sweet Marie and to the family and friends that were so sadly impacted by Jimbo's death. Many of us saw and talked with him the day before..........he said he did not feel well, but at his age....This too Will Pass.......out of the mouth of a delightfully genuine gentleman and "Gentleman" he was. We are so very sorry that we will not be there to celebrate your life to Marie, family and friends. Please know that all our prayers and thoughts are with you today, tomorrow and the days to follow. We could not have shared a million of the memories with a better man nor neighbor. Rest in the arms of the Lord dear friend. Until we meet again. God speed, along with gentle hugs and kisses.

May the peace and comfort of the Lord reign over Jim’s family. Can’t wait to see you on the Heaven side of things Jr. Pop and I were talking about the time we made 270 pounds of sausage in your basement and everyone had smiles as we celebrated our ancestors/family by passing on traditions. Well done good and faithful servant! You left a great legacy, love you!

So surprised and saddened to learn of Jim’s passing. He was a faithful and long time classmate. A true friend and always a gentleman. Condolences to his family.
