He was born March 3, 1941 to Clay and Dauzie (Mize) Fraley in Dayton, Tennessee.
He was married 55 years to Helen Bojus in Brooklyn, New York she survives.
Jim was an avid golfer, loved to take care of his yardwork, and enjoyed going to the casino.
He assisted the Amish community by driving them to their destination. He also enjoyed going fishing with Helen, going to the girls’ sports (Concord basketball) events, and riding around the country roads seeing old abandoned farmhouses, barns, and especially the snow-capped mountains out west. He especially loved traveling to Tennessee to see all of his cousins.
He was a member of the Albion Elk’s Lodge #1798. He was enlisted in the United States Army where he served as an MP in Brooklyn, NY. He was a good hearted man, but could be ornery and stubborn at times. Jim loved all his sweets but especially ice cream with cornflakes.
Jim is survived by his wife Helen; daughters Jennifer, Robin and Melissa; granddaughter
Sasha; sister, Margie (James) Fulcher of Battle Creek and several nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
