Janet Kay Anderson

Janet Kay Anderson age 81 of Coldwater, MI passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 in Kalamazoo under the loving care of her family. Janet was born January 31, 1944 in Albion, MI the daughter of Virgil and Ella (Parker) Herrick.

She was preceded in death by her husband Buster on July 10, 2015 as well as her parents and siblings: Robert Herrick, Janice Herrick and Lloyd Herrick.

Janet loved babies, even collecting babydolls and buying clothes for them. She also loved flowers, crocheting and dancing. She would spend many Fridays dancing the night away.

Janet leaves 3 children: Candy (Charlie) Lewis, Patricia (Doug) Holbrook, Roy (Theresa) Combs, 10 grandchildren: Saleana (Kaine) Stauffer, Keith (Jessica) Combs, Danielle (Bud) Elmendorf, Michael Ball, Katie Holbrook, Brittni Holbrook, Brandon Combs, Stephanie Danks, Allison Combs, Amanda Combs (Dustin Baker), 18 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, boyfriend Leon Moore and sisters: Kathy Coburn and Phyllis Robinson.

Janet’s family will celebrate her life on Monday, July 14, 2025 at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI beginning with visitation at 12PM until the time of her service at 2PM with Pastor Jeffrey Bream officiating. She will be laid to rest in Albion Memory Gardens.
